I was fortunate enough to be able to stay in the Bay Area for a week after the Greek shows that year and attend this unique show. The venue was a huge underground parking type structures with concrete pillars throughout and pretty poor acoustics.
Jefferson Starship was the actual headline act. I had never seen a show empty out so quickly after the Dead had left the stage and the Starship had started their set. We left after the second or third Starship song, they really sucked.

I was one of those that ran for the hills after the Dead set.

That was the Lovelight break out that brought the house down. Boz had probably never seen one of his crowds go apeshitcrazy over a song like the Deadheads did for that one...plus Bobby spit all over him as they shared a mic.

The parking garage vibe was a little wierd.
